THE PAST AFFECTING OUR PRESENT

Old buildings that carry the hallmarks of previous styles are the defining elements of our cityscape. In order for our cities to develop at a modern pace, it is important that we treat our architectural heritage with respect and expertise – whether it is restoring or completing historic buildings or harmonizing new ones with the old cityscape. Building sculpture plays a special role in this.

Thus, in the course of our assignments, we carry out the restoration and renovation of the facades and interior decoration of the buildings with the objective to protect the monuments.

Old style not only represents its own form but also materials, techniques, architectural and sculptural solutions that are much different from today. And since every building left behind is a unique combination of these, they deserve special attention. It is also a special task to preserve and supplement each ornament, relief, stucco or column. We often face challenging tasks in building renovation – they require experience, expertise, and creative solutions. In addition to our experience in restoration, we have a degree in sculpture that allows us to know the properties of many different materials, and there is something we can do if the situation requires special creativity or special solutions.
